Services and Advice

We have a range of services on offer including:  

Farm Tours - By appointment, we welcome people to visit for an interesting meander amongst our alpacas, seeing and hands-on learning so much about these wonderful creatures. Tea and coffee facilities available. $10.00 per person and children free. Small to large groups all welcome.

A large sheltered sitting area adjoins our purpose built craft barn and shearing shed, with parking area, all on one level plane.

                                             
Agistment - Going on holidays, or just starting out while you're building your fences, need your pacas minded for short or long term ? Realistic rates - $18.00 per week including breakfast muesli and lucerne hay daily. Paddocks all heavily grassed with separate shelter shed and self watering system, and paddock vacuumed weekly. Pick up and delivery service available.

Shearing - Dennis and Sue will be available for shearing on farm or mobile throughout the year. Give us a ring for more details.

Carding- We have a large Worsted Carding Machine for alpaca fleeces. Turning both your fleeces and ours into spinners dream fibre....Click onto the CARDING tab to find out more:

Humminghills Craft Barn - Thanks to a wonderfully talented group of spinning friends we have an ever changing array of locally handcrafted gift wear lovingly made from natural exotic fibres. Also stocked is a large array of Australian and imported clothing and nic nacs for all occasions.

Also Carded Fleece, skeins and balls of wool, and gift packs, of many colours and feature blends always available. Fibre for felting, doll making and artwork always in stock.

Friendly advice to the new breeders on, fencing, farm management, animal health and problem solving solutions within our experience.
